Ali Kester

Ali is originally from Michigan but now calls Ellettsville home. She and her family love this community and are excited to grow alongside it.

Before switching gears in 2018 to pursue design, Ali worked as an intensive care nurse for 10 years. This experience allows Ali to bring best practices with a positive attitude in a fast paced, ever-changing setting. Ali is knowledgeable in design theory and current trends and lives for the challenge of seamlessly melding form with function, bringing in natural local materials wherever possible, and carefully curating every project to ensure the client’s vision comes to life.

Ali holds a bachelors degree in nursing from Grand Valley State University and a diploma in interior design from Interior Design Institute. In fulfilling the role of Design Coordinator, Ali is committed to bringing quality, craftsmanship, and function into every Barberry home.
